Our Mission
Dedicated to enhancing lives through specialized service dogs, Service Dog Team TX partners with Texas veterans and first responders facing challenges from PTSD, brain injuries, and disabilities. Our mission is to provide support, independence, and hope through the power of canine companionship.
ABOUT US
Service Dog Team TX is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization proudly based in Texas. We are dedicated to training and providing highly skilled service dogs to U.S. military veterans and first responders living with PTSD, mobility challenges, or other service-related disabilities.
Our mission is rooted in restoring independence, emotional well-being, and daily function through trusted canine partnerships. We rely solely on private donations, community support, and volunteer engagement to fund our programs.
Each dog is carefully matched and trained to meet the individual needs of its handler, ensuring a lifelong bond built on trust, loyalty, and service.
Our Training Model
At Service Dog Team TX, we train confident, task-ready service dogs using a positive, force-free approach. Each dog is matched with a veteran or first responder and trained for their unique physical or emotional needs.
